Meet our story of the week friend, Mudge. This week our story is Henry and Mudge at Mrs. Hopper's House. We decided to make Mudge and talk about our weekly skill, cause and effect, as well. Under the left ear is the cause and under the right is the effect. The kids had a blast making Mudge. Click on the Mudge below to get the template from proteacher.
I also made a Mudge puppet for guided reading. I place complete and incomplete sentences on bones. The student could only put the bones with complete sentences in Mudge's mouth. What was funny was that the kids actually thought Mudge would bite them. Here is a picture of the bones. I would upload the file but I dont know how. I am still new at this!!!
Very cute!
